How it Works: Access

To gain access to the portal, please follow the specific procedure depending on if you have or have not already a registered user of the CPI web portal on Indonesia.
  1. Go to http://www.preventconflict.org/portal/login.php
    • If you are already a registered user of CPI web portal on Indonesia, enter your own username and password.
    • If you are not a registered user of CPI web portal and received a username and password from HPCR, enter your allocated username and password.
    • If you use the same computer every time you login in, tick “Save this information on this computer so I don't have to log in the next time I visit”.
  2. Click “Login”.
  3. Once in the portal, click 'CPI Online Conference' in the Conference Area on the right hand side of the page.
    • To get direct access to the web portal for your next visit, add the portal page to your bookmark or favorites.
Notes on secure access to the conference:
  • The conference is open by invitation only. Privileged passwords are required to gain access to the conference to ensure privacy and prevent uninvited people from entering the discussion area.
  • Security of usernames and passwords for the conference is upgraded to provide privileged access to the closed conference area.
  • Passwords and usernames identify the participant to the Conference Manager and must not be disclosed to people who are not participating in the conference.
  • Those who have not yet accessed the web portal at www.preventconflict.org/portal will receive an original username and password for both the portal and conference areas with the conference material.
  • If you do not have a username and password, or have difficulties accessing the portal or conference area, please contact Julie Fossler at jfossler@hsph.harvard.edu or by phone in Boston at 617.384-5905.
