| How it Works: Security |

The conference pages are accessible at www.preventconflict.org/portal/conference in a password protected area of the CPI website.
Upon entering the web address, participants need to enter their unique username and password before accessing the conference. The use of passwords ensures that the conference remains a closed and protected space, with no uninvited people able to view or comment on the discussion as it progresses.
Those who have already registered on the web portal can use their existing username and password for accessing the secured conference area. Those who have not yet registered to the web portal will receive a separate email with a dedicated username and password to get access to both the portal and the conference.
From the conference area, it is easy to access the rest of the CPI website, which includes information, analysis
and links on many aspects of conflict prevention and human security in Indonesia.
If participants have difficulties gaining access to the web portal or conference area, they should email Julie Fossler at jfossler@hsph.harvard.edu or contact her by phone in Cambridge, USA at 617.384.5905.
Important: Passwords and usernames identify the participant to the Conference Manager and must not be disclosed to people who are not participating in the conference.
