Job Description   
  • Develops per event basis terms of reference, budget and the agenda
  • Plan program and budget for all internal and external communications activities
  • Support other Divisions of the Partnership in their internal and external communications activities;
  • Coordinates the dissemination of best practice and lesson learned, to ensure all activities are in accordance to the Partnership’s image;
  • Establishes and maintains mutual relationship with media, include to engage Management/members of EB/GB for media interview;
  • Facilitates capacity building of media handling for key spokespersons;
  • Provides technical support in organizing in-house and/or outside public events for Program Management;
  • Strengthens the media coverage activities;
  • Produces and distributes releases and event reports;
  • Produces from time to time, s/he will hold responsibilities on specific assigned communications and knowledge management’s related project(s) as required and committed by the Management as stated on the Work Plan 2005 and beyond, such as ad-hoc basis activities.
Qualifications
  • Possess degree in marketing, communications or related social sciences.
  • 10-15 years relevant experience with 10 years experience in managerial level in marketing, communications and/or public relations field, with broad knowledge of the Indonesian government, civil society, and other stakeholders in governance.
  • Proven track record in building image of an organization through media and public relations, as well as through the Internet;
  • Highly developed knowledge on good governance in both public and private sectors;
  • Highly developed writing skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English;
  • Highly developed leadership and management skills;
  • Good communications skill – presentation, verbal/written, influencing interpersonal.
  • Good skill on the use of IT.

Job Description    The Programme Officers will carry out the following specific tasks:
  • Undertakes monitoring, evaluation and reporting on projects supported by ERTR Programme;
  • Undertakes trouble-shooting of project problems and suggest corrective actions where necessary;
  • Develops productive working relationships with Government, Non-Governmental institutions and other project partners;
  • Manages Promote the overall ERTR programme strategy, objectives and activities;
  • Coordinates with partners and ERTR Banda Aceh on identifying project initiatives for support within the three programme components;
  • Conducts regular meetings with partners to discuss and document lessons learned;
  • Prepares periodical programme reports for the respective Area/District Managers to send to ERTR Programme Manager;
  • Provides leadership to the programme team of ERTR sub-field offices;
  • Serves as Acting District/Area Managers in their absence; and
  • Performs other relevant duties as required by District/Area Managers.
Qualifications
  • Minimum university degree in development economics, sociology, business administration, or other relevant field;
  • Minimum 7 (seven) years of professional experience, preferably in the field of development;
  • Knowledge of the socio-economic conditions of the region is required;
  • Full working knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia and English;
  • Strong ability to draft, edit and produce written results-focused reports in English;
  • Proven capabilities with computers to keep records and produce reports;
  • Possess pro-active attitude and sound judgement;
  • Commitment to the United Nations principles and demonstrated ability to work in harmony with persons of different national and cultural background;
  • Good communication, interpersonal and liaison skills;
  • Able to work under pressures, handle multi tasking situations, and travel to project sites; and
  • Ability to negotiate and troubleshoot relationships with national and international stakeholders.
