Job Description    The selected candidate will mainly be responsible to assist the Director General of Department of Health Services regarding the overall management of FCHV program in the country in close cooperation with the FCHV unit at FHD. S/he will liaise with different government divisions/centers and with different external development partners (EDP) regarding the planning, implementing and monitoring of the FCHV program. S/he will assist in coordinating with FHD/FCHV section for smooth functioning of FCHV program activities and function as secretariat of FCHV working group.
Qualifications Candidate should have Bachelor preferably Master's degree and at least 5yrs experience in community health programs in Nepal (preferably with FCHVs) The position is Kathmandu based but may require occasional field visit. Basic computer knowledge is a must.
Other The selected candidates will be provided service contract up to July 15, 2003. Thereafter, the service period may be extended annually based on department head's recommendation and subject to availability of fund.
